She retains the ability to handle heavy weather courtesy of Bill Dixon’s design. Thirsty Boots is no slouch either with a ‘Turn of Foot’ that will out-sail most of her peers. Spacious below decks she is ideal as a family cruiser or just as easy to sail single or shorthanded.
Sail Plan consists of Roller Head Sail and slab-reefing main and Spinnaker Pole and Spinnaker plus other sails.
On deck she has four self-tailing winches plus two sheet winches, an autohelm, depth, wind, speed & log instrumentation plus a Raymarine Hybrid plotter at the helm

The interior of the Moody S38 is both practical and spacious however below it is undeniable that the interior and upholstery and flooring will need some attention. The layout consists of a full double cabin beneath the cockpit with en-suite heads and shower. This also has a practical ‘Jack & Jill’ access through the main saloon. To starboard is the galley with cooker and fridge and navigation table to port with Raymarine ‘E’ series Plotter, The Large saloon can accommodate six crew in comfort.
