Description
This Cougar is a very, very special boat and totally unlike anything you will have seen before. Converted by the current owner back in 2020 from a standard racing powerboat she has kept her outright speed prowess and added an outstanding layer of luxury and utility.
Two Evinrude outboards each kicking out 300hp provide the speed. These were both new at the point or the rebuild. For ease of use, particularly during mooring, there is a joystick mounted on the port side so that despite her racing lines you can quite easily see to manoeuvre her at low speed.
Then we have her party piece. The rebuild removed the whole top of the fore deck, filled the space with well appointed socialising area including seating and even a hidden heads, then remounted the removed deck on hydraulics so that the whole thing can be raised while at rest and lowered when underway.
This is a type of high performance luxury unique on the market.
