    Description

Amadeus, is a very good example of the Island Packet 370. She has just come on to our listings and more pictures are to follow. Amadeus was built in Florida, USA in 2005 by Island Packet Yachts and is from the board of Bob Johnson. His designs are world famous for strong well manufactured blue water sailing yachts. Amadeus is no exception. Her lines are typical with deep under body profile giving space below while the foil keel is long, giving protection to the skeg-hung rudder and propeller. I can find little fault with the joinery in this yacht. The thickness of cupboards is 1 inch and the quality of manufacture extremely high. Some very good stowage ideas have been included in the fitout making living onboard comfortable. The electric swivelling nav station chair is brilliant. Her exterior teak work has just been stripped and sanded making her pleasing to the eye. Her sailing qualities in all the reviews I have read are very favourable. The cutter rig, self-tacking staysail and in-mast furling makes this yacht an easy sail. This example has been regularly maintained from new by a knowledgeable owner to a high professional standard and comes with a set of enviable extras.
